Out of the drawer

The Writer’s Drawer is the sacred place where a writer’s novels and works are kept – sometimes cherished, sometimes locked away. It’s a place of ripening, of hope, sometimes of abandonment. Opening it, picking up your stories again, reading them with the detachment of years gone by, is an immensely courageous and creative act.

In a tough and challenging time in my life, after much hesitation, I decided to open my drawer and bring my stories into the world, one by one – challenging my shyness, feelings of inadequacy, and second thoughts. I worked on them again, polished and perfected them, and now I am extremely proud of them. Small publishers had published some; others were gathering dust in lonely anticipation.

“Out of the Drawer” – an action, a symbolic image – gives its name to my collection. I designed a logo imagining the scent of wood and paper the drawer holds, but also the dust, the veil of time and forgetfulness. I wanted to give tangible form to the act of opening, reconnecting, and guiding my creative work into the world.
Supported by this new editorial identity, I wish to share the novels, short stories, songs, and poems I have written over forty years of creativity and passion, as well as the project that empowered me so much.

As a coach and writer, I have developed this program to support and inspire anyone who has not yet given up on their creative dreams and who wishes instead to find the determination and confidence to bring their project to life.

I will accompany you, step by step, as you open your sacred drawer, reconnect with the energy of creation, learn to see your work with both critical eye and love, to value it, and to believe in yourself and your talents.

Novels, short stories, autobiographies, poems, songs, as well as any strangest and funniest idea – I’ll be by your side to help your talent take flight and bring your lifelong project to fruition.
